Dead Stock and Old Date Code


  • Older date code product is not acceptable to many Tier 1 customers. The traditional Tier 1 customer rejects older date code product.
  • Older date code product has a low turnover rate/ long shelf life. Selling older date code inventory at distribution pricing can be a lengthy and time-consuming process.
  • Traditional channels that attempt to sell their dead stock, old & obsolete inventory will usually disrupt their current business model. Pricing conflicts will result in a business model that is selling both current product at higher prices and older date code product at a lower price.
  • Ambit will purchase old date code and dead stock in volumes that simplify and reduce the cost of the disposing entity.

  • Ambit's customer base seeks older date code product. Our customer base operates in a cost conscious environment, which develops, markets and sells products successfully using Ambit's components.
  • Ambit's customer base is attracted to Ambit as a first choice for best service, prompt delivery and superior price.

  • We can effectively service these accounts due to their pricing needs, small volume requirements, credit worthiness, and other issues that are usually not cost effective for large distributors.

  • Ambit will complement your sales channels and not conflict with it, utilizing our "No Channel Conflict" Business Model. We do not market our product to Tier 1 customers nor do Tier 1 customers seek product from Ambit. Ambit coordinates its marketing efforts with our suppliers so as not to sell their products to their existing customer base. Since Ambit's customer base has no need for current product, the effort is not made to obtain quotes from traditional sales channels.

  • However, when our customers experience growth, they often turn to traditional sales channels for product to ensure continuous supply. Accordingly, Ambit is instrumental in contributing new revenue and customers to our suppliers.
